Hi y’all.

I just noticed that the maths fonts were not working properly on my site.

The problem seems to have been caused by the Jetpack plugin for WordPress, that I installed on Monday. Specifically, its Photon functionality, supposed to speed-up the loading of images, was instead frakking up the maths fonts.

I disabled it and the fonts seem to be working now, but I’ll have to take a proper look later on what exactly is broken.

Of course, this is the week that we had the EPNC conference, and I was meeting lots of new people and spewing my business cards like crazy – only to direct people to my partially non-working site.

Indeed, I was somewhat busy the whole time, standing watch over audio equipment and the like, and hence barely had time to check my mail, let alone maintain my site.

Well, that’s life, and the famous Mr. Murphy at work.

On a more positive note, the conference was a huge success. I think everybody had a great time.

Report coming up in due course.

Until then!
