Below is a list of forbidden foods I would never eat under any conditions! You shouldn’t either.
1. Anything poisonous
Nothing kills your progress more effectively than dying. Hence, I would never eat e.g. gasoline, rat poison, or the wrong kind of mushrooms. Please note that some items, despite generally lethal, can be made edible by suitable preparation. Those, when actually prepared, are naturally exempt from this category.
2. Concrete
You’d better refrain from eating any items or materials that are not edible. I know I do. The human body is not designed and/or evolved to digest for example, but not limited to, the following:
- Ferrocement
- Power tools
- Warships
- Stars (although the little decorative ones made from sugar are okay in moderation)
Despite the assurances of your doctor to the contrary, consuming any of the aforementioned items could seriously harm your wellbeing.
3. Liver
I would never eat liver because I strongly dislike its taste. I avoid most kinds of shellfish for the same reason. Strictly speaking, you can have 2 to 3 kinds of food you never eat simply because your preferences. Anything more than that, you might suffer from being a spoiled brat. Seek treatment immediately!
Extra point
Too much onion gives me gastric distress. Presumably because of some nasty little buggers called fodmaps. In any case, I’m forced to limit my onion intake. This is a shame, since I absolutely love them.

Okay, let’s underline.
You shouldn’t go full Sith and deal in absolutes regarding food.
Meaning no lists of forbidden foods, or stuff you absolutely have to eat either.
Nada.
But, here’s where it goes full meta. The above requirement is not absolute either. There can be exceptions.
Indeed, it’s wholly okay to have some foods that you rarely (or never) eat, simply because they don’t happen to agree with your taste. But only a few. Get over it. Nobody likes a picky pain in the ass.
Allergies and legit food sensitivities are also an obvious exception.
But other than that, a suitable level of flexibility is in order.
Yes, your diet should mostly consist of healthy stuff. You can’t have pizza for dinner every night, even a healthed-up version. It’s called being an adult.
But, it’s also okay to occasionally indulge. Sometimes it’s even socially required. Like birthday parties and stuff.
Just make sure that the quantity and frequency of crap match your goals. Fat loss requires a stricter approach than simply maintaining.
